DO'S

• Do wash hair often, everyday or every other day with a shampoo and conditioner designed for dry/damaged hair. Ex: Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo for dry damaged hair is a good shampoo to use.

• Always put a plastic cap over hair with conditioner and let it sit in the hair while you finish your shower or bath.  Neutrogena Triple Moisture for dry damaged hair is a good conditioner to use.

• Do, detangle hair  in the shower with a wide tooth comb,  preferably a wooden comb. The comb can be purchased at the Body Shop.

• Do apply a leave in conditioner/detangler such as Knot Today to hair while it is soaking wet. Do not rinse out.

• Apply a leave in natural gel such as Kinky-Curly Curling Custard to hair. A head band can be put in the hair to keep hair off face and leave the hair done in little spirals.

• You can comb back into a pony tail and then secure with a clip. You can then tie your head with a with a silk or nylon hair tie to keep frizzes at bay. Untie when you are ready to leave home to reveal neat frizz free hair with waves.

•  Do,  Deep Condition your hair every 2 weeks. A great product that I use is Ultra Black Hair Growth Deep Conditioner. You can order it online at www.ubhpublications.com

DON'TS

• Do not put grease on your scalp, it blocks the follicles and stunts growth.

• Do not cut ends of hair, that is a lie when hair dressers say you have to cut the ends of hair for it to grow.

• Do not use hair brushes in natural, kinky-curly hair, half of your hair will be in the brush and on the bathroom sink and floor. To smooth hair line tie it down with a silk or nylon hair tie.

• Do not comb natural kinky curly hair when it is dry. Results will be like above. Always comb hair while it is wet to save on breakage. Use a spray bottle with water to wet hair, if you plan on combing hair without shampooing it or use a leave in spray to wet hair and gently comb.

• Do not feel ashamed of your natural hair. God's word says that you are fearfully and wonderful made. You are made in the image of Almighty God. If God wanted you to have straight hair he would have given it to you and me. Do not listen to the worlds noise and the devil's lies.
